When Barwon Child, Youth and Family Services’ Louise McDonald signed up to Workplace Giving in August, she had no idea that her generous gesture would pay dividends. Louise is one of 620 local employees who have signed up to commence or increase a donation to Give Where You Live Workplace Giving. And Louise was the lucky donor whose name was drawn out as the winner of the $1500 store voucher from E & S Trading.
E&S Operations Manager, Paul Ryan, was very pleased to show Louise around the store. “Providing this prize as an incentive is something we are very pleased to do. When a Loaned Executive visited our store in September, it reminded us how important Workplace Giving is for helping raise vital funds for local causes.”
Louise agrees. “One important message from when Loaned Executive Alasdair Woodford visited Barwon Child, Youth and Family, was that the funds stay in the region. Alasdair’s presentation gave me a greater awareness of the needs in our community. I feel it’s a no-brainer giving a little out of my pay. I don’t miss it but it is helping make a difference.”
Give Where You Live acknowledges E & S Trading for its 7th year of supporting the Loaned Executive Workplace Giving campaign. The promotion starts again now! So if you commence or increase a pledge to Give Where You Live over the next 12 months, you are eligible to be entered in the new draw.
