The Give Where You Live Foundation is thrilled to announce our 2017 community contributions which includes $2.03 million in community grants to assist the Geelong / G21 region’s most vulnerable people.
This is part of the Foundation’s larger $2.86 million investment into the Geelong regional community this year, which includes regional programs such as the GROW initiative, ENGAGE – Youth in Philanthropy and Feed Geelong, equating to one of the largest community foundation allocations in the country.
Our grants are allocated to organisations working within our grant program areas of Health & Wellbeing, Live & Learn and Survive & Thrive (which include grants under the Feed Geelong program). We also offer larger multi-year Innovation Grants that allow organisations to fund new innovative programs or expand proven pilot project, aimed at breaking the cycle of entrenched and multiple disadvantage.
The Give Where You Live Foundation is thrilled to once again be making such a significant financial contribution into the Geelong community to address the daily impact of disadvantage on the lives of so many in our region – to build a better community for everyone.
