The Foundation was delighted to have been invited by the Geelong Cats to participate in the ‘Dulux Community Bay’ at a recent game at Kardinia Park between Geelong and Hawthorn.
The Dulux Community Bay at GMHBA stadium is a dedicated seating bay, which provides local heroes the opportunity to experience a Geelong Cats home game. The seats have been ‘paid forward’ by generous members and donors within our community. Each home game, the Geelong Football Club gift a number of seats in the dedicated Dulux Community Bay, as well as highlighting a Dulux Community Champion, who is someone who has gone above and beyond in their role (paid or volunteered), started an incredible initiative, or dedicated their service for many years and deserves to be celebrated!
It was great to have Give Where You Live Foundation Chairperson, Daleen Kroger share our message with the big crowd about how we’re working towards a fairer, more equitable Geelong. Daleene was recognised at quarter time with a big screen interview.
We thank the many community members involved with the Foundation, from workplace givers to regular donors, corporate partners to volunteers who attended to cheer Daleene on.
